WHAT IS A DUCTLESS MINI SPLIT?
Heating and cooling made simple. No ducts needed.
Think of a ductless mini-split as a smarter way to heat and cool your home. Each system pairs one outdoor unit with one or more indoor wall-mounted units. Because every indoor unit operates on its own, you have the freedom to set different temperatures in different rooms. No more arguing over the thermostat, and no more wasting energy conditioning spaces that do not need it.
Connecting the indoor and outdoor units is a simple run of refrigerant lines and wiring through a small wall opening. There is no ductwork to install, no ceilings to open up, and no major renovation required. And because most systems provide both heating and cooling in one unit, you get year-round comfort from a single, efficient solution.

Why choose ductless?
If you’ve been putting up with uneven temperatures, noisy window units, or the hassle of adding ductwork, a ductless mini-split is the smarter, cleaner solution that works for virtually any space. The air handlers offer a modern appearance, slim profile, quiet operation, and the choice between air conditioning or both heating and cooling. Take advantage of the energy savings and consistent year-round comfort of inverter technology. Enjoy perks such as remote adjustment, the customized direction of airflow, helpful programs, and multi-stage filtration.
REDUCED ENERGY COSTS
You can choose to heat or cool only the rooms you’re actually using, so no energy is wasted on empty spaces.
ZONE-BY-ZONE CONTROL
Every zone has its own dedicated thermostat, enabling personalized comfort and better efficiency throughout your home.
HASSLE-FREE INSTALLATION
Installation is far less disruptive than installing central air, making it a smart choice for additions and remodeling projects.
WHISPER-QUIET PERFORMANCE
Mini-splits operate at a fraction of the noise level of window units or older central air systems.

FAQs
Common questions our customers have about ductless mini-split systems
We serve Mars, Cranberry Township, Southern Butler County, and areas north of Pittsburgh. Give us a call at 724-625-2444 and we’ll get a technician out to assess your home.
Yes. Like any mechanical system, ventilation systems need periodic filter changes and inspections to keep them running well. Our NATE-certified technicians (North American Technician Excellence) are experienced in the maintenance and care of fresh air and ventilation systems.
If you’re noticing condensation on windows, musty smells, or family members with worsening allergies indoors, those are strong signs that you and your home can benefit from a ventilation system. Our technicians can assess your home’s air quality and tell you honestly whether a ventilation upgrade makes sense, or whether a smaller fix will do the job.
Not with the right equipment. Energy and heat recovery ventilators are built specifically to bring in fresh air without losing the conditioned air you’ve already paid to heat or cool. That’s the whole point of the technology.
Your heating and cooling system moves air around the house and adjusts temperature. It doesn’t bring in new outdoor air. A ventilation system’s whole job is that exchange, fresh air in, stale air out, so the two systems actually work together rather than doing the same thing.
Opening windows helps sometimes, but it’s not reliable. It lets in outdoor allergens, undoes your heating and cooling efficiency, and isn’t practical in winter or summer. A ventilation system exchanges air continuously and automatically, without the energy loss.
Yes. Our NATE-certified technicians (North American Technician Excellence) install UV light systems on virtually any ducted heating and cooling equipment, regardless of who installed it originally. If you’re not sure whether your system qualifies, give us a call.
Not usually. Most systems mount directly into your existing ductwork near the indoor coil, and installation is typically finished in a single visit. There’s no rework needed on your duct system itself.
No, and it isn’t meant to. Filters and UV lights solve different problems. Filters trap particles as air passes through. UV lights target the biological growth living inside your system. Used together, they cover more ground than either one alone.
Most UV bulbs are rated for one to two years of continuous use before they need replacing. Beyond that, there’s very little to maintain. We check bulb function during your regular maintenance visits so it’s never something you have to track yourself.
